30MW battery storage scheme in Somerset

One of our Somerset clients has now completed the freehold sale of circa two acres for a 30MW battery storage site for a sum which represents the top of the market.

Roadnight Taylor provided strategic and tactical grid rights advice for almost two years, alongside the client’s land agent, Perdix Partners, who negotiated land rights. We also had significant input into the freehold land sale contract, including drafting nine of the eleven grid rights clauses. We then oversaw the grid rights transaction.

Roadnight Taylor worked very closely with a fully-engaged team at Western Power Distribution (WPD) and are very grateful for their diligence.
