40MW gas genset and 10MW battery storage scheme in Shropshire

We were pleased to have secured 40MW of export capacity for a gas genset scheme and 10MW of import capacity for battery storage behind the same connection for our industrial client in Shropshire.

The 40MW is connected at 33kV and represents a very cost-effective connection on a site that is strong from a planning perspective. There is sufficient gas available in the intermediate gas main close to the site.

We have attracted very strong heads of terms for the client from competing developers.

Technology:  Gas genset and battery storage
