Grid Connections Reform: update #3

10.00-11.00

Wednesday 16 October

Following our first two Connection Reform webinars which received over 600 registrations, our Connectologists® return with a further update on 16 October 2024.

After the TMO4+ Connections Reform Consultation, the ESO has made relatively significant changes to the proposal. This update webinar seeks to provide an overview of this revised timeline and guide through some of the key changes, including layers that may develop in 2025. With a special focus on the Transmission Connection Process, we will look at the impact on Embedded Projects through the BEGA, BELLA and Appendix G processes. We will share our thoughts on proposed changes to the DNO process and take any questions from the floor.

The webinar is timely, as this month, the legal text for CMP434 and CMP435 is being developed and alternatives to elements of the proposal are being updated. This update therefore comes at a time where the proposed modifications being submitted to Ofgem should be understood, and the focus is moving to the key Methodologies that are expected to develop through the remainder of the year.

Whilst the ESO publish a Workgroup summary, it can be very difficult to grasp the extent of change and its impact without further discussion. We hope we can provide a resource that gathers the key points in one place, with chances to raise your own questions and keep up to date.

Feel free to to register on Zoom now to secure your spot and benefit from the latest insights directly from the experts on the ground.

We will use and protect your data as stated in our Privacy Policy

Anyone who registers for any of the webinars will receive a recording, even if you are unable to attend. However, we would encourage you to join us live as you will get the opportunity to put your questions to our Connectologists® in interactive Q&A sessions.
