Most projects scrutinise their Connection Offer closely. Far fewer give the same scrutiny to the Connection Agreement.
As projects approach energisation, developers and asset owners are handed draft Connection Agreements by their DNO and often sign them under time pressure — assuming they reflect what was agreed. Increasingly, they don’t.
